Depends on who is cooking. About 50 percent of the time we have had an awesome burger. .Today we went and the hamburger was over cooked, flat, and crusty on the edges. We are not ones to complain, but we are learning that each cook does em differently. It is an awesome little diner open 24 hours.

I was driving through Taylorville and stopped here to get a sandwich for the road. I've been hearing a lot about this place from fellow coworkers so I thought to give it a shot. The place is not a big place by any means, but it definitely has a lot of history. I spoke with the lady working and the place has been around since the 30's. Had a good conversation with the employee and the other employee who was there just visiting. Super friendly staff! I ordered a double cheeseburger so I could eat on the ride home. I didn't know that the burger was as big as it was at first so I had to wait until I got home. The burger was fantastic! Fresh ground beef, toasted bun and fresh produce. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. I ordered onion rings to go along but I didn't feel that they were anything special. I would definitely stop and grab another burger sometime in the near future.

We walked into this quaint little galley-style diner and were immediately thinking we made the right choice...pure nostalgia! I ordered the fried cauliflower with a small cheeseburger and my husband ordered the double cheeseburger with fries. The cheeseburger was freshly toasted with crisp lettuce and onion. Cauliflower was crispy with a ranch dip - fried to perfection! Fries were delicious too. The server and cook were very friendly and I loved the cute styrofoam Pepsi cups! Great prices and the experience brought us back to the 60's diner era.

Burger was fresh, seasoned and just all around delicious! No bun & fries, I could probably eat it a week straight lol. Hole in the wall space but I see why it's always packed! Service is quick.

You can taste decades of flavor from the griddle in the burger patties. You'd be missing out if you are in the area and don't stop by.

Small town USA local diner. Good food local home cooked atmospheres. No frills no drama just delicious burgers fries and sides. Great place to stop in and grab a bite. I'd always prefer local mom and pop vs a chain.
